Well that escalated quickly…
The first chapter to be exact. Glyndon unwittingly attracts the attention of a dangerous and charming predator, Killian Carson. Despite his sophisticated exterior, Killian is ruthless and manipulative, and Glyndon is aware of his dark nature. As a result, she finds herself in a perilous situation… Killian wants her and he won’t stop until he posseses her.
The opening chapter of God of Malice is a doozy — heed my warning (and check your trigger warnings), it was criminal. My mouth was in a permanent state of shock reading this story. The book itself is lengthy and without a ton of plot, the focus is mainly on Killian and Glyndon relationship where he chases her for the entirety of the series until Glyn suddenly decides he’s hot and she wants to be with him. . Killian’s unhinged nature was a highlight for me, personally. I found him to be so over the top that it worked. I seem to have a penchant for the wild, crazy, and unpredictable men in books.
I always struggle when reading books like this because they are always set in college…. COLLEGE. They are practically babies. Not that it would make it much better if they were older.
I was not expecting to like this as much as I did. I DEVOURED this. This was a total guilty pleasure read and I felt like I needed a shower afterward.
If you enjoy a tumultuous romance with a dash of chaos, and a totally unhinged mmc this book delivers.
