Welcome to Biblioblake! Before you consider submitting a Review Request, please see the below information. When you’re ready, please fill out the Review Request form below.

Here’s everything you need to know about how I handle book reviews:

1. What I Review: I review a variety of genres including general fiction, fantasy, romance, science fiction, new adult, and select young adult. If your book falls outside these categories, please feel free to inquire, and I’ll let you know if it’s a good fit. This includes both traditionally published and self published authors up to my discretion.

2. Submission Guidelines:

  • For Authors and Publishers: If you’d like to submit a book for review, please send a brief synopsis, the book’s genre, and any relevant details to blake@biblioblake dot com Include any specific requests or deadlines if applicable.
  • For Self-Published Authors: I welcome submissions from self-published authors. Please provide a brief synopsis and any pertinent information about the book.

3. Review Process:

  • Honest Reviews: All reviews are based on my personal opinions and experiences with the book. I strive to provide honest and constructive feedback. My goal is to give readers a clear sense of whether a book might be a good fit for them.
  • Timeliness: While I make every effort to review books promptly, please understand that my reading schedule may affect review timing. I appreciate your patience and understanding.

4. Review Format:

  • Reviews typically include a brief summary of the book, an analysis of key elements such as plot, character development, and writing style, and my overall impressions. Reviews may also include a rating system, see Rating System for more details, if applicable.

5. No Guarantee of Review: Submitting a book does not guarantee that it will be reviewed. I evaluate all submissions based on their relevance to the blog’s content and my current reading list. If a book is not reviewed, it is not a reflection on its quality.

6. ARCs and Review Copies:

  • Advance Review Copies (ARCs): I appreciate receiving ARCs and review copies but will only review them if they align with my blog’s focus and interests.
  • Formats Accepted: I accept both physical books and digital copies. Please specify your preference when submitting.

7. Sponsored Reviews: If a review is sponsored, it will be clearly labeled as such. All sponsored content will be marked to ensure transparency and maintain the integrity of my reviews.

8. Affiliate Links: Some posts may contain affiliate links. If you purchase through these links, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This helps support the blog and allows me to continue providing content.
